E-tickets or electronic tickets are a convenient and safe paperless way of purchasing flights via the Internet. E-tickets are stored in the reservation systems of airlines. All major airlines sell e-tickets.

After your flight purchase, you will receive a confirmation email containing your itinerary details and ticket number. When traveling with e-tickets, remember to carry your government-issued photo identification (driver’s license or passport). With an e-ticket, some airlines allow you to check-in online and print your boarding pass up to 24 hours before your scheduled flight departure.

Don’t forget to print your boarding pass at home or at an airport kiosk to proceed through security.

You may check the status of your bookings, view and print itineraries, request tickets exchange or cancellation (if permitted by fare rules) using your Simplio Account.

Book a flight online

You can book a flight on simplio.in online. Simply enter your preferred flight details in the search form and our booking engine will display all the flight options according to your request.

On the result page, you may use “Filter” tools for a more advanced search, e.g. excluding overnight flights or selecting direct flights only. When you have found the best matching flight click the “Select” button and proceed to the payment page. On the payment page, you need to complete information fields required for placing your order.

When you are filling in the passenger details make sure you enter passenger name exactly as it appears on passport. This document has to be provided during the flight check-in. If the name on the ticket does not match the identification presented, the passenger will encounter difficulty passing through the airport security or may be denied boarding.

To complete your order click “Book & Pay” button. Once your ticket is issued, you will receive an email confirmation with your ticket number and itinerary details.

Book a ticket for another person

You can book tickets for another person, even if you are not traveling with them.

The conditions are:
1. You have the authority to act on behalf of the third person.
2.You enter the passenger name correctly, in full accordance with their passport.
3. You are responsible for all payments made for each passenger in your order.

Booking mistakes

The customer is held responsible for providing the correct information at the time of placing his order. Be aware that all mistakes made during the booking can lead to ticket cancellation and its further reissuing with penalty fees applied. If you find any serious issue with your booking or have multiple itineraries for the same trip, get in touch with our Customer Service immediately. In some cases, you might get a 24-hour period from the moment of original booking to update or cancel your ticket free of airlines imposed penalties.

Name mistakes

Airlines usually have strict rules about name changes on flight tickets so you should be attentive when filling in your name details. In some cases, you may be permitted to make corrections (usually involving 2-3 characters). If you have made a major mistake in passenger’s name and corrections are not acceptable, you will need to cancel your reservation and make a new booking.

Add passengers to your booking

You can not add passengers to an existing booking. For extra tickets please make a new order.

Reconfirm your flight

You can check-in online on a website of the carrier operating your flight:

domestic flights - 24 hours prior to departure
international flights - 72 hours prior to departure

Airlines reserve the right to deny boarding to a passenger who has not reconfirmed his flight in a timely manner. Additionally, airlines may change schedules without prior notice, so it is highly recommended to check schedules before arriving at the airport.



Usually, each traveler aged 16+ can take two infants in their own seats or one infant on his lap. The information below is provided as a general guideline. We encourage you to check your airline's website for the specific rules regarding child transportation.


Children who are under 2 years of age are considered infants. When traveling with infants you need to decide whether they will travel on the lap or get their own ticketed seat. Usually, each traveler aged 16+ can take two infants in their own seats or one infant on his lap. The information below is provided as a general guideline. We encourage you to check your airline's website for the specific rules regarding carriage of children.


Lap. One of the travelers (age 16+) in your party will hold the infant throughout the flight. Usually, you don’t need to pay for lap infants on domestic flights but certain fees can be charged on the most international flights. If you intend to travel with an infant on your lap, please contact your airline immediately after the purchase to let them know about an infant passenger. Note that a proof of age may be required by your airline.

Seated. In this case, you will be required to provide a car seat for an infant to ensure his safety. The car seat must meet all the airline restrictions. Remember about special infant fares you may need to pay for the seats reserved for infants. To receive further clarification on these fares, please contact your carrier directly.

If you're traveling with more than one infant per adult, you will need to purchase a seat for each additional infant passenger.

If you're traveling with more than two infants per adult, or if you're flying Premium Economy, Business or First class, check with your airline prior to purchase to confirm if it’s allowed.

Must have a ticket

• Children who are 2 or more years old at the time of your flight departure.
• Children who require their own seat.
• Children who are traveling on an international flight.


On some international flights, bassinets may be provided free of charge. You should contact the airline prior to departure to inquire about availability.

Car seat

A safety infant car seat has to be used on board the aircraft if you want your child to fly as a seated passenger.

Please, consider the following infant car seat placement restrictions: on one-aisle airplane car seats must be placed in window seats; on two-aisle airplane car seats must be placed in window seats or the middle seat of a center section. You cannot put a car seat in rear-facing seats of any airplane.

After purchasing tickets, please confirm the carriage of the infant directly with your airline.


Generally, flying is not restricted during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. Flying during the third trimester may be restricted.

As a rule, flying of up to 27 weeks of pregnancy will be allowed by airlines but a pregnant passenger may need a written permission from her health specialist confirming it's safe to fly.

Take a note, that travelling by air during later terms of pregnancy may be less comfortable.

This is a general information, each airline has its own set of rules and restrictions. We encourage you check with your airline for the specific requirements regarding carriage of pregnant women. More detailed guidelines including may be obtained from an airline operating the purchased flight.

If you have purchased tickets and your doctor subsequently advised you not to travel, contact us as soon as possible for cancellation of your booking.


The carriage of pets must be arranged in advance. If you would like to take your pet with you, please contact Simplio customer service.

Each airline has specific rules regarding carriage of pets. As pets on board require special handling, additional fees may be incurred. Be advised that some airlines do not allow pets in the cabin.

Please check with your airline for guidelines on traveling with pets.

Booking via phone

Currently, we do not provide reservations via phone. Please use our website tools to book your flight online.

Paper tickets

We do not sell paper tickets. In some exceptional cases, the itinerary can be operated by multiple airlines that do not have ticketing agreements and thus paper tickets must be issued. We will notify you within 24 hours of your order receipt and provide options to make another booking or cancel your order at no cost to you.
